Description
Research areas
The study of new domino reactions in order to create a fundamental methodology for the regio-and stereoselective synthesis of functionally substituted carboxy and heterocycles with practically useful properties. The following types of domino reactions were investigated:
SN2 reaction -> Thorpe-Ziegler reaction -> Thorpe-Guaresh reaction;
Knevenagel reaction -> Michael reaction -> hetero-Thorpe-Ziegler reaction;
cross combination domino reactions
Scheme 1
Creation of regioselective methods for obtaining N-, O-, S-containing organic compounds - drugs, potential drugs and their intermediates used against cancer (prostate cancer, sarcoma, DNA reduplication inhibitors), blood thrombosis, and also as cardiotonics.
Scheme 2
Development of new regioselective environmentally friendly methods for the synthesis of fluorine-containing heterocycles. The study of the structure, reactivity and biological activity of fluorine-containing compounds in order to create a fundamental methodology for the synthesis of F-, O-, S-, N-containing heterocycles.
Scheme 3
Innovative activity. As a result of 10 years of joint work by the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Federal State Institution, the Russian Cardiology Research and Production Complex identified original substances with pronounced antiarrhythmic properties, surpassing the well-known drugs used in the clinic. These substances received a patent of the Russian Federation No. 2379287 “Substituted sulfones and sulphoxides with antiarrhythmic activity, drugs and pharmaceutical compositions based on them” (Arzamastsev EV, Laba VI, Sviridova AV, Mironova M. I., Terekhova OA) with the priority of the invention of August 14, 2008 (registered in the State Register of Inventions of the Russian Federation on January 20, 2010. Together with the Federal State Institution "Russian Cardiological Research and Production Complex" Federation nogo for high-tech medical aid agency (Federal Cardiology Medical Technologies).
