Description
Main areas of workThe development of synthesis methods, the study of the structure and properties of phosphates of complex-cationic composition is a traditional direction of the laboratory since the days of academician I.V. Tananaeva. Among these materials are solid electrolytes with high ionic conductivity, electrode, luminescent materials, etc.
Synthesis and study of the properties of new membrane ion exchange materials, including hybrid membranes with improved transport properties.
Synthesis, study of the structure and properties of REE compounds with mixed anionic composition.
The study of ionic mobility in oxide and phosphate materials.
The most significant results
New approaches to the synthesis of organic / inorganic hybrid ion-exchange membranes have been developed, which allow obtaining materials with improved transport properties (conductivity, selectivity). A model of limited elasticity of the membrane pore walls is developed, which explains the change in their conductivity at high and low humidity, the selectivity of transport processes and the mechanical properties of hybrid membranes.
New ion-exchange membranes with high conductivity and selectivity were obtained on the basis of sulfonated polystyrene grafted to various hydrocarbon films (polyethylene, polymethylpentene).
New composite cathode and anode materials have been developed for lithium and sodium batteries based on complex lithium (sodium) – iron phosphates and lithium titanate (sodium) doped with various carbon-coated transition metals.
New up-conversion phosphors based on borates, polyphosphates, borate-tungstates and rare-earth boratogermanates have been developed.
A new approach to the description of the kinetics of ion exchange is proposed, which allows one to determine the diffusion coefficients of ions.
