Description
Akademblab laboratory analyzes air in the working area.
What is working air?
The standard GOST 12.1.005-88 provides some definitions that shed light on the question of what is considered a "working area" and where the air is subject to control in accordance with the requirements placed on the working area air:
Production facilities are enclosed spaces in specially designed buildings and structures, in which people constantly work (shift) or periodically (during the working day).
The working area is a space limited in height 2 m above the floor or platform where there are places of permanent or non-permanent (temporary) stay of workers.
Workplace - a place of permanent or temporary stay working in the process of employment.
The maximum permissible concentration (MPC) of harmful substances in the air of the working area - concentrations that during daily work (except weekends) for 8 hours or for a different duration, but not more than 41 hours per week, during the entire working period cannot cause diseases or deviations in the state of health, detected by modern methods of research in the process of work or in the long term life of the present and subsequent generations.
Regulatory documentation that establishes the requirements for the air of the working area
Maximum permissible concentrations of chemical substances in the air of the working area are set by GN 2.2.5.1313-03 "Maximum permissible concentrations (MAC) of harmful substances in the air of the working area".
In the standard GN 2.2.5.1313-03 for some substances, the maximum permissible mean-mean concentrations (MAC of ss) and maximum single concentrations (MAC of m. P.) Are indicated. To determine the mean concentration concentrations, a study is needed that includes monitoring the air environment during the working day (taking several samples and averaging the results). If a one-time sampling of air is carried out, then the data obtained are compared with the established maximum one-time concentrations of substances.
Chemical analysis of working area air
Akademblab Laboratory measures the following substances in the air of the working area:
Determination of volatile organic compounds in the air of the working area by gas chromatography in accordance with the methods of GOST R ISO 16000. Among the substances determined by these methods are phenol, styrene, benzene, toluene, etc.
Air analysis of the working area by gas analyzers. Determined substances: carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NO, NO2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), sulfur dioxide (SO2)
Determination of mercury vapor concentrations
Photometric determination of mercaptans in the air of the working area (ethyl, butyl, methyl mercaptan)
Measurement of formaldehyde concentrations by photometric or fluorometric methods
Gravimetric and optical analysis of the dust content of the working area air
Air analysis of the working area, price, dates
Coordination of specialist departure dates: from 30 minutes.
Analysis time at one point: from 10 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the determined indicators.
The result of the service: air analysis protocols of the working area, containing data on the measured concentrations of substances, reference information on the maximum permissible concentrations.
The general term of the service: 3-5 working days.
