All electronic devices included in the list of products sold in Russia or the Customs Union must comply with the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility and electrical safety (EMC and EB). In Russia there are two regulations - TR TS 004 "On the safety of low-voltage equipment" and TR TS 020 "Electromagnetic compatibility of technical equipment." The main requirements applied to any electronic devices in this section are considered in the annex to the LED lighting device.

Below is a series of EMC standards for lighting devices, measurements according to the methods of which may be performed by the laboratory "Archite".

TR CU 020/2011 **

STB IEC 61547-2011 (IEC 61547: 2009) Electromagnetic compatibility. Noise immunity of general purpose lighting equipment. Requirements and test methods

STB EN 55015-2006 (EN 55015: 2000) Electromagnetic compatibility. Radio interference from electrical lighting and similar equipment. Norms and methods of measurement

STB IEC 61000-3-2-2006 (IEC 61000-3-2: 2005) Electromagnetic compatibility. Part 3-2. Rules. Norms of emission of harmonic components of current for equipment with consumed current <= 16 A in one phase

GOST R 51317.3.2-2006 (IEC 61000-3-2-2005) Electromagnetic compatibility of technical equipment. The emission of harmonic components of the current by technical means with a current consumption of not more than 16 A (in one phase). Standards and test methods

STB IEC 61000-3-3-2011 (IEC 61000-3-3: 2008) Electromagnetic compatibility. Part 3-3. Rules. Limitation of changes, voltage fluctuations and flicker in low-voltage power supply systems for equipment with a rated current <= 16A in one phase, which is not subject to conditional connection

GOST R 51317.3.3-2008 (IEC 61000-3-3: 2005) Electromagnetic compatibility of technical equipment. Limitation of voltage changes, voltage fluctuations and flicker in general low-voltage power supply systems. Technical means with a consumed current of not more than 16 A (in one phase), connected to the electrical network if certain connection conditions are not observed. Standards and test methods

GOST 30585-98 **

STB IEC 61000-4-4-2006 (IEC 61000-4-4: 2004) Electromagnetic compatibility. Part 4-4. Test methods and measurements. Tests for resistance to nanosecond impulse noise

STB IEC 61000-4-5-2006 (IEC 61000-4-5: 2005) Electromagnetic compatibility. Part 4-5. Test methods and measurements. Tests for resistance to microsecond high-energy impulse noise

GOST R 51317.4.34-2007 (IEC 61000-4-34: 2005) Electromagnetic compatibility of technical equipment. Resistance to failures, short-term interruptions and changes in the power supply voltage of technical equipment with a current consumption of more than 16 A in one phase. Requirements and test methods

GOST 14254-96 (IEC 529-89) Degrees of protection provided by the shells (IP code)

GOST IEC 60598-2-1-2011 Light fixtures. Part 2. Particular requirements. Section 1. Fixed fixtures for general use

GOST R IEC 60598-1-2011 Light fixtures. Part 1. General requirements and test methods

GOST 15150-69 Machines, devices and other technical products. Versions for different climatic regions. Categories, operating conditions, storage and transportation in terms of the impact of environmental climatic factors

Additional requirements apply to lighting devices, which are also listed in the list of standards. Electrical safety is ensured by the design of lighting devices and is an important part of it. Many parameters are determined in order to obtain information about the degree of reliability of the product under extreme operating conditions. And compliance with these requirements is the key to long product operation. Minimum requirements for products are specified in the TS CU, n
